PURPOSE: A re-access method while service redirection fails in a mobile communication terminal is provided to repeat retransmissions to a redirection system as many as the number of channels when an access fails while performing service redirection, thereby improving access rates and access speed. CONSTITUTION: A terminal receives a service redirection message(S411), and enters a standby state via an initialization state by performing synchronization(S412,S413). The terminal monitors a paging channel message of a redirection system in the standby state, and if the paging channel message is normally received, the terminal shifts to an access attempt state(S414,S418). The terminal decides whether transmission power arrives at a max access probe(S419). If not, the terminal monitors the number of retransmissions, and decides whether the number exceeds 'n'(S420). If not, the terminal decides whether the system assigns a traffic channel(S421). If not, the terminal shifts to a system determination state, and completes system access(S423).
