ROTARY DRUM TYPE FERMENTATION EQUIPMENT AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING COMPOST BY USING THIS EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel rotary drum type fermentation equipment which can discharge compost C from a rotary drum 2 when sufficiently proceeded fermentation by optimally setting the stagnation time of materials D to be treated 2 and the number of turning times by a lifter 25, and to provide a method of manufacturing the compost by using the equipment.

SOLUTION: The terminal of the rotary drum 2 is provided with a discharge preventive plate 5 and the outflow of the materials D to be treated from the rotary drum 2 is prevented by the discharge preventive plate 5, by which the discharge of the materials D is performed in the stage that the fermentation of the materials D is sufficiently proceeded.
