PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas barrier laminate having excellent gas barrier properties even if held in the atmosphere under a high humidity condition over a long period of time and suitable as a packaging material because a whitening phenomenon is prevented. SOLUTION: In the gas barrier laminate wherein a gas barrier layer is formed on at least the single surface of a support, the gas barrier layer is formed by successively laminating two layers, that is, a first gas barrier layer (1) containing at least one silicic acid condensate selected from an alkali metal silicate and colloidal silica and a second gas barrier layer (2) containing a highly hydrogen-bondable resin and an acidic substance from a support side.
