PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bag filter for liquids, wherein the leak of a liquid from its opening is prevented to prevent a collection efficiency from lowering and to impart stable sealability, and the easiness of being held within a housing is excellent. SOLUTION: The bag filter is a bag filter comprising a bag-like filter cloth held within a housing and a ring that forms the opening of the filter cloth, wherein it has a structure formed by wrapping the ring with the edge of the bag-like filter and subjecting the folded and superposed edge to ultrasonic welding to form an outwardly opened ring opening.
