PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peeler for peeling the outer skin of the subject of peeling, such as a fruit or vegetable, in such a way that the operation of fixing the fruit or the like in position and the operation of peeling the outer skin of the fruit fixed are performed at the same time by simple operations using only one hand to ensure peeling. SOLUTION: The peeler has a guide member with a rod-shaped guide part, and a movable member with a sliding grip slidably and rotatably supported by the rod-shaped guide part of the guide member. The guide member has a positioning locking part at one end of the rod-shaped guide part.
