<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-insulating container having very excellent heat- insulating properties by a very simple structure and easy to be held, and a heat-insulating/heating method. <P>SOLUTION: Recesses or a recess/protrusion structure is provided on an outer surface of the container made of a heat-resistant material, such as glass and a polypropylene, having insulating properties and suitable for heating by a microwave oven.
