PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hairdressing preparation as an oil-in-water type emulsion, having high sustainability of its hair grooming effect and good storage stability even under long-term storage. SOLUTION: This hairdressing agent is obtained by incorporating an oil-in- water type emulsion essentially comprising an oily component and a surfactant with a solution of (A) an acrylic acid/acrylic acid amide/ethyl acrylate copolymer and (B) an acrylic acid/alkly methacrylate copolymer in the mass ratio B/A of (1:50) to (1:10) so as to be 0.5-10 mass% in the content of the component A in the final agent.
