<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing beer by which a new flavor suiting a consumer is created. <P>SOLUTION: The beer having rich flavor is produced by carrying out the production of the beer by adding ocean deep water to promote saccharification and fermentation. Especially, the saccharification and the fermentation are promoted by regulating the amount of the added ocean deep water so as to be 0.1-0.8 wt.% based on fermenting water, and using a malt including a roasted and/or roasted-and-dried malt. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
