PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel method for connecting a chaff transfer device to a husking machine to use the same, capable of feeding chaff to a remoter place without exerting adverse effect on the husking function of a husking machine, a wind quantity regulation mechanism having a novel structure therefor and a connection pipe body structure with the wind quantity regulation mechanism comprising a novel structure. SOLUTION: In the method for connecting the chaff transfer device to the husking machine to use the same, the suction port 51 of the chaff transfer device 5 is connected to the chaff discharge port 31 of the husking machine 3 and the wind quantity regulation mechanism 1 is provided and arranged to either one of both ports or to the proper place between both ports to operate the chaff transfer device 5 along with the husking machine 3 and the flow rate and flow velocity of chaff-containing exhaust air are increased and decreased by the operation of the wind quantity regulation mechanism 1 to suppress or reduce the lowering of the husking capacity of the husking machine 3.
