PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To encourage a user to appropriately adjust a tire air pressure during running on a highway or before starting to run on the highway. SOLUTION: This air pressure warning device comprises an excess/deficiency amount calculating means 10b for calculating an excess/deficiency amount based on a difference between a suitable air pressure stored in a suitable air pressure storing means 10a and a detected tire air pressure, a notification control means 10c for notifying a notifying means 11 of an excess/deficiency state of the tire air pressure determined based on the excess/deficiency amount calculated by the excess/deficiency amount calculating means 10b. The air pressure warning device also comprises a suitable air pressure correcting means 10e for increasing the suitable air pressure stored in the suitable air pressure storing means 10a by a predetermined value when a highway running detecting means 10d detects a highway running state of the vehicle. The suitable air pressure is corrected to be high by the predetermined value in the highway running state of the vehicle, so that a deficiency state of the air pressure is announced, and the user intends to fill the tire with air.
