<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically start and finish a pulse measuring action by, for example, just putting a finger tip of a position to be measured on a measuring point (window part, etc.). <P>SOLUTION: This photoelectric pulse wave type pulse measuring instrument M is provided with a light emission part 3 irradiating the measuring point 2 such as the fingertip put on the pulse wave sensor window part 21 with a light, a light receiving part 4 receiving the light emitted from the light emission part 3 and reflected by the measuring a point 2, a pulse wave detecting circuit 5 detecting a photoelectric pulse wave component by the output of the light receiving part 4, and a CPU 6 finding the number of pulses based on the photoelectric pulse wave detected by the pulse wave detecting circuit 5. An illuminance sensor 25 is disposed adjacent to the pulse wave sensor 22, when the illuminance sensor 25 detects the illuminance change by the approaching operation of the measuring point 2, the CPU 6 starts the pulse measuring operation and, when detecting the illuminance change by the releasing operation of the measuring point 2, it finishes the pulse measuring operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
