PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-traveling crane capable of decreasing vehicular width while ensuring an arranging space of a driving chamber as far as possible. SOLUTION: This self-traveling crane 1 comprises a multi-stage telescopic boom 2e capable of rising and falling, and an upper swiveling element 2 capable of swiveling and provided with a driving chamber 2h, on an upper frame 2a. The self-traveling crane 1 also comprises a lower traveling vehicular body 4 supporting the upper swiveling element 2 so as to freely swivel. The multi- stage telescopic boom 2e in the maximum falling down state is positioned a canter in a vehicular width direction of a lower traveling vehicular body 4. A relief portion is formed at a lower part in the multi-stage telescopic boom 2e side of the driving chamber 2h, and the driving chamber 2h is arranged so as to partially overlap the multi-stage telescopic boom 2e. An engine 2i is mounted on the opposite side to the driving chamber 2h across the multi-stage telescopic boom 2e, and the driving chamber 2h is separated from the multi-stage telescopic boom 2e before rising/falling operation of the multi-stage telescopic boom 2e.
