PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently reduce flexural rigidity of a core to make a weather strip bent easily following a body opening, so as to facilitate outfitting work onto a body and to prevent defective assembling. SOLUTION: A large number of cut-out parts 15 are arrayedly provided alternately in both sides of the core 8, each holding part 16 is formed between the adjacent cut-out parts 15 adjacent along a longitudinal direction of the core 8, tip parts of the cut-out parts 15 in the both sides are overlapped along a width direction of the core 8, bonding parts 17 are formed to be extended width-directionally, and the holding parts 16 in the both sides are connected each other via the respective bonding parts 17. Since total length of the bonding parts 17 is long, a strain is dispersed when the weather strip is bent sideways, so as to reduce flexural rigidity. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
