<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a wrinkle generated in base fabrics to facilitate the securing of a prescribed thickness size, in an air bag covering a window part of an automobile. <P>SOLUTION: In this air bag, the inner base fabric 11 and the outer base fabric 12 are sewn up in a bag state. In an inflation part 18 allowing an inflow of a gas, the inner base fabric 11 and the outer base fabric 12 are sewn up in a width restriction part 33 to restrict a width size in development. The width restriction part 33 has linear restriction parts 41 and terminal restriction parts 43, 44 provided in the linear restriction parts 41. Yarn axis directions Wa, We of woven cloth of the base fabrics 11, 12 and arrangement directions of the terminal restriction parts 43, 44 are shifted such that the plurality of the terminal restriction parts 43, 44 are not disposed on the same yarn axis.
