<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for controlling a form of a tandem rolling mill capable of achieving a stable plate form all over the plate width direction, while the plate end portion can be controlled independently. <P>SOLUTION: The method for controlling the form of the tandem rolling mill is characterized in that the plate form is detected in the exit side of the final rolling stand of the tandem rolling mill and the plate form signal is secondarily differentiated, and, based on the differential values, zoning of the working side, driving side and central portion of the rolling mill is performed against the rolling plate width, and, based on the plate form of the central portion, the work roll of the final rolling stand and the bender of the intermediate roll are controlled, and, at the same time, drafting of the final rolling stand is controlled and, based on the plate form of the working side end portion and the plate form of the driving side end portion, the work roll shift of the final rolling stand and the work roll of singular or plural rolling stands in the pre-step side of the final rolling stand group or the bender of the intermediate roll are controlled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
