PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved method for rice transplanting, suppressing weeds after rice transplanting, remarkably reducing a labor cost without taking a labor and time during rice transplanting, recycling waste paper, maintaining a large-area environment where organic agriculture can readily be performed and contributing to preservation of the natural environment. SOLUTION: This method for rice transplanting comprises a mechanism for mounting a paper mulch on a working machine and laying the paper mulch while synchronizing the speed with that at which the working machine advances. During planting, the mechanism, as necessary, has a stroke for bonding or fixing a seeder tape to the paper mulch. The whole is composed as shown in Fig. 1. A is a roll of the paper mulch and B is a roll group of the seeder tape. C is a roller or a guide for bonding the paper mulch to a field and D is a part for bonding the paper mulch to the seeder tape. E is a part for sinking seed parts in the ground. A and B are rotated by pulling the paper mulch or seeder tape with power fed thereto while synchronizing A with B or by feeding power of C and D. The paper mulch or seeder tape is fixed to the ground contact surface in D and E. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
