<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform outputting faithful to the results of user's expectation by controlling a reprinting start page in accordance with the attribute set in print job in reprinting when a printer causes a failure. <P>SOLUTION: An information processing device generating print data to be printed by a printer is provided with a recognition module for recognizing the occurrence of a failure in processing of print job of document together with a page on which the failure occurs when printing the document, a determining module for determining a reprinting start page in accordance with print attribute of the print job interrupted by the occurrence of the failure and the page on which the failure occurs, and a data transfer module for transferring print data in a scope of reprinting specified by the reprinting start page determined by the determining module to the printer substituting reprinting of the interrupted print job to execute the reprinting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
