PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent electrophotographic photoreceptor giving a stable image of high image quality even after repeated use and not causing a curling-up of a cleaning blade. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic photoreceptor having a photosensitive layer on an electrically conductive support, is characterized in that a layer forming the surface of the electrophotographic photoreceptor has the barium salt of a long-chain carboxylic acid.
