PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily gather the usage history information of power elements without fail at a low cost and utilize the information in analyses of reasons for failure and assessment of remaining life and as reliability information and the like for preventive maintenance. SOLUTION: An envelope 9 containing power elements is further provided with a means for recording the history of use of the power elements and a memory read-out terminal 11 for the means. The read-out terminal 11 and the control terminals 8 of the power elements are electrically connected as required to make serial transmission.
