PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically perform suitable switching between a plurality of communication devices. SOLUTION: Electronic equipment 1 has a plug-and-play function 25 which can connect a plurality of communication devices (devices A-D) for performing automatic setting of the communication devices to be connected. A communication monitoring module 22 monitors the communication states of the plurality of communication devices connected to the electronic equipment 1. A registry 24 stores information representing the priority of the communication devices to be used between the plurality of communication devices connected to the electronic equipment 1. On the basis of the communication states of the respective communication devices provided from the communication monitoring module 22 and the information stored in the registry 24, a switching module controls switching of the plurality of communication devices by using the plug-and-play function 25 so that one communication device can be exclusively used.
