PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone set in which communications with the Internet or of bulk information can be performed on the liquid crystal display part of a large screen easy to watch without partition by providing the liquid crystal display part of a large screen almost over all the main body of the telephone set, mounting a control panel equipped with operating buttons such as ten key to be freely put in and put out inside the main body of the telephone set or on the back of the main body taking out the control panel and exposing the operating buttons on the surface in the case of use. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display part 2 of a large screen is provided almost over all the front face of a main body 1 of the telephone set, a control panel 4 equipped with various operating buttons 3 such as ten key is provided to be put in and put out on the back of the main body 1 of the telephone set or inside the main body, and the control panel 4 is formed so that the operating buttons 3 can be turned toward the front face of the main body 1 of the telephone set when the control panel is taken out. Thus, in the case of use, by taking out the control panel and exposing the operating buttons on the surface, the communications with the Internet or of the bulk information can be performed on the liquid crystal display part 2 of a large screen easy to watch without partition.
