<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric appliance preventing water stored in a drain tank in a housing from affecting the indication of the humidity. <P>SOLUTION: A heat exchanger 15 for taking heat from air in contact, a blower 17 for bringing air taken from the outside of the housing 10 into contact with the heat exchanger 15 and blowing out the air to the outside of the housing 10, the drain tank 22 for storing condensed water generated by the contact of air with the heat exchanger 15, a weight sensor 24 for measuring the weight of the drain tank 22, and a humidity sensor 32 are disposed in the housing 10 of the electric appliance (humidifier 1). An operation/indication part 60 for indicating the humidity value measured by the humidity sensor 32 is disposed on the outside of the housing. The operation/indication part 60 indicates the measured humidity value multiplied by a correction coefficient to weight corresponding to the weight value measured by the weight sensor 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
