<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for loading a part in which productivity is improved by shortening the time required for image pick-up for an image of a part held by a part holding member while the number of part holding members with which a part loading head is equipped is increased, related to the device for loading a part which holds a part to load on a circuit forming body. <P>SOLUTION: The device for loading a part comprises first sub-head and second sub-head part loading heads provided with a plurality of part holding members that are rotatably placed around the center of sub-head rotation, and an imaging device provided with first and second image pickup devices that image-pick up an image of a part held by one part holding member in each of the sub-heads, respectively. By rotating each of the part holding members in each of the sub-heads, each one part holding member is positioned above the first and second image pickup devices, for simultaneous image pickup for the image of each part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
