<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform miniaturization and cost reduction of a three-dimensional image system by adopting a personal computer to a controller for displaying the respective pictures for solving problems of costs, quality and size. <P>SOLUTION: The three-dimensional image system makes an observer three- dimensionally recognize a virtual object image, comprises an image generation part 4 for a front left eye, an image generation part 12 for a front right eye, an image synthesizing part to be connected with both video generation parts, a display part 8 for plotting output of a front image synthesizing part 6, glasses having a shutter 44 and a position sensor, a synchronization signal generator for driving both video generation parts and the image synthesizing part and a position control part for controlling information from the position sensor and the synchronization signal generator inputs synchronization signals in the both video generation parts, the image synthesizing part and the glasses, synthesizes images for left and right eyes, displays them on the display part 8 by synchronizing them and synchronizes the shutter 44 of the glasses having the shutter 44 and the position sensor with the synchronization signals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
