PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a damping characteristic of a stretched color selection electrode structure having an integrated frame. SOLUTION: This color selection electrode structure for a color cathode-ray tube includes a nearly rectangular integrated frame 12 having a frame-like skirt part with four side parts connected and having a flange part formed on one end face of the skirt part, and a color selection electrode 14 stretched on the other end face of the skirt part. The electrode structure is characterized by being provided with a means 15 for applying, to two sides respectively supporting the upper end and the lower end of the color selection electrode within the four side parts, elastic force in a direction separating the two side parts from each other.
