A load controller has two inputs (mLsoll) air mass flow called for by the throttle valve and (hubmin), the minimum inlet valve stroke required to achieve smooth running. It's output values are (EVhubs), the required valve stroke, (aDKsoll) and preferably the control times (stze,stza) for the inlet and outlet valves. The controller checks if the required air mass flow can be set by an inlet valve stroke above the minimum physically possible, otherwise the throttle valve angle is adjusted.
