A hanging rack (2) for kitchen utensils is normally joined to the wall or to the ceiling, leaving unsightly traces after being removed. Problems can be caused in particular in the case of rented accommodation. The new design of a hanging rack (2) is provided with three joint elements (1) for being attached to the lower surface of a hanging cupboard (8). A horizontal upper segment is screwed to the cupboard (8), the lower, cranked end is joined to the rail (2) with a screw and a securing nut.
