The door (1), set in a frame (2) in a wall opening, is made from an outer metal sheet, an inner plywood sheet (5) designed to match the interior decor, and an internal filling of an insulating material that breaks the thermal bridge between the outside and inside and also provides acoustic insulation. The edges of the door are formed by timber battens, and the door frame is also of timber, with the exterior parts sheathed in metal. The metal used for the outer surface of the door can be of stainless steel, galvanized iron or aluminum, and needs virtually no maintenance. |
