PURPOSE: A sedimentation pond with back wash function in which sludge collector and filter means are installed is provided which obtains very high solid removal efficiency and is applied to a solution having high solid concentration by installing filter means having low head loss on the upper part of the sedimentation pond. CONSTITUTION: In a sedimentation pond(10) in which settleable solids are settled by gravity so that the settled solids are removed, and supernatant from which the solids are removed is flown out to the outside as treated water, the sedimentation pond with back wash function in which sludge collector(62) and filter means are installed comprises a filter means for removing micro-floc and particles floated in the supernatant; a catchment means for flowing the caught water to the outside as treated water by catching the supernatant from which the micro-floc and particles are removed; and a back wash means installed at the sediment pond to separate solids collected in the filter means, wherein the filter means is a porous filter module(21) formed of fiber, ceramic or metal, wherein the catchment means is a circular or rectangular catchment pipe submerged in water, an inlet hole is perforated on the catchment pipe, and the inlet hole of the catchment pipe is connected to an outlet of the filter module, wherein the back wash means is a supersonic oscillator(41) or vibration generator for separating solids adhered to the filter means by vibration, wherein the filter means or catchment means comprises a valve or gate shaped solid outflow prevention means(50) for preventing solids separated by the back wash from flowing out through treated water, and wherein the sedimentation pond comprises a driving unit(60) for moving the back wash means to back wash the filter module to sequentially repeatedly back wash the filter module as the back wash means is being moved.
