The holding device for a ball for fastening to a two-wheeler consists of two opposed holders (11,12) which are movable to and from each other and hold the ball (10) between them. The contact zone of at least one holder forms with the surface of the ball a closed circular line. At least one holder is ring-form in construction or at least one is in shell-form. At least one holder may have a round shape, the diameter of which lies between preferably 0.15 and 0.30 meters. At least one holder is adjustable on a guide element (23).
