PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

PURPOSE: A plasma display panel is provided to be capable of improving a luminescence efficiency and a brightness. CONSTITUTION: The first sustain electrode pair(Y1,Z1) is alternately supplied with the first sustain voltage and causes a sustain discharge. The second sustain electrode pair(Y3,Z3) is placed at both sides of the first sustain pair and is supplied with the second sustain voltage higher than the first sustain voltage so as to extend a sustain discharge path. The first sustain electrode pair and the second sustain electrode pair are formed on different surfaces. The second sustain electrode pair is closer to a discharge space than the first sustain electrode pair.
