PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL AND METHOD FOR DRIVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A plasma display panel and a method for driving the same are provided to remove pseudo-contour noise and flicker by using driving waveform and subfield arrangement at driving device. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display panel includes a signal discrimination block(46) for detecting the frequency of input signals, a memory(48) for storing a plurality of driving modes to be differently selected in response to the frequency of the input signals and a signal processing block(50) for determining the driving waveform and the subfield arrangement to display the input signals by selecting the driving mode in response to the detected frequency.
