PURPOSE: To provide an outer rear view mirror with built-in camera capable of maintaining the visibility of a vehicle near front wheels, securing the same specified imaging area as that at a neutral position even in the storage position. CONSTITUTION: This outer rear view mirror with built-in camera comprises a camera module 10 installed in a mirror housing 2 installed in a vehicle W rotatably from the neutral position N1 to a rearward storage position N2 and a forward position N3 through a mirror base 6 and a camera angle changing means having a drive mechanism 20 for changing the camera angle of a camera body 12 rotatably installed in the camera module 10. The camera body 12 is rotatively controlled so as to maintain a generally specified imaging area so that a variation in imaging area relative to the rotating operation of the mirror housing 2 can be suppressed.
