PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luggage compartment for vehicle having less number of part items and capable of being easily assembled and installed on an installation panel. SOLUTION: This luggage compartment for vehicle comprises mounting holes (bosses 15L, 15R, 16L, 15R) for mounting on the installation panel, a pair of brackets 11L and 11R having support shafts 18L and 18R installed therein and disposed opposite to each other, a pocket member 41 disposed between the pair of brackets 11L and 11R and having pivot holes 45L and 45R engaged with support shafts 18L and 18R, and torsion springs 51L and 51R energizing the pocket member 41 to a closing position or an opening position. An opening position restricting mechanism (guide holes 23L, 23R, bosses 46L, 46R) for restricting the opening position of the pocket member 41 is installed in the pair of brackets 11L and 11R and the pocket member 41.
