PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door device for a vehicle capable of opening/closing without touching any obstacle even if the opening direction or the vehicle height direction of a rear door is limited. SOLUTION: This door device for the vehicle is constructed of an upper wall cover 2 formed separately from a vehicle body 1 for constituting an upper edge of an opening by its one end 21, a door 3 journaled to the one end 21 of the upper wall cover 2 rotationally for opening/closing an aperture, a lock mechanism 4 arranged shiftably to the vehicle body 1 for switching connection/ disconnection with/from the door 3, a first link 5 connected to the lower side of the lock mechanism 4 at one end 51, connected to the side part extending in the vertical direction of the aperture at the other end 52, and distributed by a driving mechanism 8, a second link 6, in which one end 61 is connected to the upper side of the lock mechanism 4 while the other end 62 is connected to the upper side above the other end 52 of the first link 5, and a third link 7, in which one end 71 is connected to the front side of the vehicle body 1 beyond the one end of the upper cover 2 while the other end 72 is connected between one end 61 and the other end 62 of the second link 6.
