PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a tire replacing work without removing a transmitter for a tire air pressure alarm device. SOLUTION: In this casing structure for the transmitter for the tire air pressure alarm device, a pressure detecting part for detecting tire air pressure, a signal processing circuit, an electronic board and a battery, etc., are stored in a rectangular casing 2, and a tire valve 3 is integrally provided on an upper part of a casing 2 by being projected to a rear side. A front corner part of the casing 2 is formed into a R-shape. In a wall surface 2a in the corner part, skirt parts 10 are formed at a taper angleθ<SB>2</SB>=65 to 75°. A portion between both ends of the skirt parts 10 and the wall surface 2a is formed by a proper R-shaped curve from an upper surface of the casing 2 to a bottom surface. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
