PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weight control method of a molten steel in tundish, which can suppress the level variation of an in-mold molten steel in continuous casting by reducing frequency in opening/closing of a control nozzle for casting the molten steel from a ladle into a tundish, and can enhance controllability. SOLUTION: In the method for adjusting a control nozzle opening degree at the ladle outlet depending on the weight measuring results of an in-tundish molten steel to control the in-tundish molten steel weight within a defined range, the control nozzle opening degree is adjusted based on the relation among an in-ladle molten steel head, the control nozzle opening degree and a ladle casting flow rate. In the method, a ladle casting flow rate variation is calculated from an in-tundish molten steel weight variation for each sampling cycle and an offset amount of a control nozzle opening degree for correcting the ladle casting flow rate variation is calculated from the above relation, thereby the control nozzle opening degree is adjusted.
