PURPOSE: An organic luminescence display apparatus having a black matrix and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve the contrast by forming the black matrix between anode electrodes. CONSTITUTION: An anode electrode(12) is deposited on a substrate(11) at constant distances. A metal film(19) is heat-treated by high temperature to be deposited on the substrate(11) between the anode electrodes(12). Organic luminant(15,16,17) are formed on the anode electrode(12). A cathode electrode(20) is formed on the organic luminant(15,16,17). The substrate(11) is a transparent flexible substrate. The anode electrode(12) is deposited with a thickness of 500-2500Å through a sputter or an electron beam evaporator.
