PURPOSE: A wiper roll cleaning apparatus for a salt bath is provided to improve quality of a strip and to preventing a worker from being damaged by automatically removing salt chips stuck to a wiper roll. CONSTITUTION: A wiper roll cleaning apparatus is provided in wiper rolls(9,11,13) in order to automatically clean the wiper rolls(9,11,13). The strip(1) is guided into salt solution contained in a salt bath(7) through a neck race roll(3) and a salt immersion roll(5). At this time, the wiper rolls(9,11,13) provided at one end of the salt bath(7) remove salt solution stuck to the strip(1). The number of the wiper roll cleaning apparatus is identical to the number of the wiper rolls(9,11,13). The wiper roll cleaning apparatus includes a moving section for moving the wiper roll cleaning apparatus towards a salt chip(15), a salt chip removing section for spraying salt solution towards the salt chip(15), and a control section.
