PURPOSE: A contact charging type charging device of an image forming system is provided to improve poor charging using a conductive elastic member. CONSTITUTION: A contact charging type charging device that contacts a photosensitive medium of an image forming system to charge the photosensitive medium includes a charging member(400) and a terminal(110). The charging member has a curved face coming into contact with the photosensitive medium. The charging member is designed in such a manner that both ends of the charging member are supported by a support placed in a developer of the image forming system to be elastically biased such that the charging member has semicircular or semi-oval cross section. The terminal applies voltage to the charging member.
