PURPOSE: A box of a water meter is provided not to obstruct the traffic and to prevent breakdown by preventing the exposure of a cover to the ground. CONSTITUTION: The box of a water meter contains a main body(1) and a cover(2) installed on the top of the main body(1), and a flange(3) is installed between the main body(1) and the cover(2) and provided with a regional cogged joint(30) where the cover(2) and the main body(1) are suspended.
