摘要 PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a reflective TFT(Thin Transistor Film)-LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) with a rough diffuser is provided to improve diffusion efficiency of pixel electrodes without using a polarizer by forming rough and uneven surfaces with etching the passivation layer, and to increase contrast of the LCD by adjusting the direction of reflected rays with forming ridge bumps on the first passivation layer. CONSTITUTION: In a method for forming a TFT-LCD element on a transparent insulator substrate(50) with a transistor, the transistor is covered by forming a first passivation layer(66) on the transparent insulator substrate. A transistor source structure and a drain structure(64) are exposed by etching the first passivation layer having contact holes. The drain structure is electrically connected by forming pixel electrodes(68) fitted to the contact holes in the first passivation layer. A second electrode layer is mounted on the first passivation layer and the pixel electrode, and covered evenly by the transistor for planarization. The rough surface is formed by etching a second passivation layer(70) through lithography process.
