摘要 PURPOSE: An air conditioner using hydrogen storage alloy is provided to prevent environmental pollution, and to cool and heat efficiently by using endothermic reaction and exothermic reaction between the hydrogen storage alloy and hydrogen with simple structure. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner comprises a body(170) having a hollow heat exchange chamber; first and second reactors(111,112) installed in the heat exchange chamber and filled with hydrogen storage alloy to heat and absorb heat alternately with absorbing and radiating hydrogen from the hydrogen storage alloy; a hydrogen flow pipe(120) connected between reactors to move hydrogen between hydrogen storage alloys; a pumping unit(130) sending hydrogen from the hydrogen storage alloy to the other reactor; a valve unit installed in the hydrogen flow pipe to control transfer direction of hydrogen according to the control unit; a duct unit connected to the heat exchange chamber to suck and discharge air; a blower flowing air through reactors into the heat exchange chamber and discharging air by blowing; and an air flow guide unit(160) discharging air from the heat exchange chamber by switching direction. Heating and cooling efficiencies are improved by using endothermic reaction and exothermic reaction between the hydrogen storage alloy and hydrogen.
