PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate processing by performing the scan line conversion of a graphic path and a clip path in an initial stage and further performing the subsequent processing only by using an integral arithmetic operation using run. SOLUTION: A graphic path and a clip path are respectively inputted to a graphic path inputting part 2 and a clip path inputting part 3, and a straight run generating part 4 converts each straight line of the path into straight run being the set of runs expressed with a start point X and end point X of the arbitrary Y coordinate so that real number coordinates are converted into integral coordinates. Thus, the subsequent region run generation processing or clip processing can be performed only by the integral arithmetic operation, thereby accelerating the processing. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
