<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve portability by thinning a card slot as compared with the total value of the thickness of two types of memories even if two types of memories can be used in electronic equipment that detachably stores two types of memories and can record data at the two types of stored memories. <P>SOLUTION: The card slot 10 comprises a storage region 11a for storing a memory card A, a storage region 11b for storing a memory card B, and a common region 11c that the storage regions 11a and 11b share each other. The thickness X in the card slot 10 is thinner than the thickness obtained by totalling the thickness of the memory card A (thickness of the storage region 11a) X1 and the thickness (thickness of the storage region 11b) X2 of the memory card B by the thickness X3 of the common region 11c. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
