<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boarding pass issuing system which can solve the problem of installation space and reduce introduction cost of the system and maintenance costs thereof, and also facilitate managing an air ticket utilization state every user organization, and to provide a variety of services by each user organization. <P>SOLUTION: A host computer 11 is installed in a boarding pass issuing organization, a general-purpose personal computer 13 is installed in each user organization, and a boarding pass issuing machine 15 is installed at an airport. The general-purpose personal computer 13 displays ID (identification) information by each user organization and performs air ticket reservation. The host computer 11 transmits the air ticket reservation information and ID information to the boarding pass issuing machine 15 at the airport. The boarding pass issuing machine 15 reads user ID information from an ID recording medium 16, which is collated with the transmitted ID information, and a boarding pass is issued. Result information on issuing of the boarding pass is transmitted from the boarding pass issuing machine 15 to the host computer 11 and is accumulated thereon. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
