PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging circuit for a strobe flash which has a series resonance circuit, including a feedback winding, interposed between a DC power source and the base of a transistor. SOLUTION: The charging circuit for the strobe flash is equipped with a transformer 1 having a primary winding 11, a secondary winding 12, and a feedback winding 13 wound around a magnetic core 10, a series connection circuit formed by connecting a DC power source 2, the primary winding 11, and the transistor 33 in this order, and a series connection circuit comprising the secondary winding 12 of the transformer 1, a rectifying diode 41, and a high-voltage charging capacitor 42 by connecting a bias resistance 32 between the common connection point between the DC power source 2 and the base of the transistor 33 and grounding the common connection point; and the latter series connection circuit is connected between the common connection point between the other end part of the feedback winding 13 and the base and the ground, a resistance 51 and a capacitor 52 are connected in series between the DC power source 2 and one end part of the feedback winding 13.
