PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep blowing efficiency high regardless of an increase and decrease in blowing quantity. SOLUTION: A stationary blade 132 is provided on the back flow side of the rotary blade 11 of an axial fan, and a movable flap 134 is rotatably connected to the rear end side of the stationary blade 132. When the stationary blade 132 and the movable flap 134 are regarded as one blade, the stopper 133e of the stationary blade 132 and movable flap 134 is adjusted so as to maximize the angle of attackαin a low-speed state of the one blade. Accordingly, since the movably flap 134 is rotated as a weathercock so as to minimize air pressure acting on the movable flap 134, on air flow can be efficiently shaped in the low-speed state, and air resistance can be minimized in a high- speed state. The blowing efficiency can be thus kept high regardless of an increase and decrease in blowing quantity. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
