The screen (1) is made from whole or split reeds (2), e.g. of the type known as Provence cane, held together by interwoven filaments (4), and has reinforcing rods (3) at intervals. The reinforcing rods can be made from an extruded plastic or other material, such as natural bamboo, and can be of any cross-section. The screen can be fastened to a fance of posts (5) and wires.
