<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detecting element in which the joining strength of terminal sections to the main body of the element can be improved. <P>SOLUTION: In this detecting element which is constituted by forming a pair of electrodes 3 and 5 on the both surfaces of a zirconia solid electrolyte substrate 2 and equipped with the terminal sections 4a, 4b, and 24 on the surface of its main body having a detecting section which detects the state of the environment and in which lead pins 13a, 13b, and 23 are respectively brazed to the terminal sections 4a, 4b, and 24 which a brazing material 17, is equipped with recessed grooves 15 which are respectively formed in the terminal sections 4a, 4b, and 24 and to which the lead pins 13a, 13b, and 23 are brazed in positioned states. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
